In der Serie BLOODY CROSS verbindet sich die Frage nach dem „WARUM“ mit der blutigen Antwort. Das Kreuz als Symbol des Glaubens, hingeworfen über das fragende Gesicht eines Mannes, der sein Entsetzen in den Händen verbirgt.
Das Kreuz als Symbol der Verbindungen zwischen Himmel und Erde und zwischen den Menschen, das „Rad des Lebens“, der „Vier Edlen Wahrheiten“, Symbol der „Heiligen Zahl 4“ wurde und wird missbraucht als Symbol von Schuld und Sühne, als Metapher für ein Leben in Bürde.

In this artwork, the question „WHY“ is connected with the bloody response. The cross being a symbol of all faiths and cultures, thrown over the questioning face of a man who tries to conceal his consternation.
The cross as a symbol of connection between heaven and earth and between people, the „wheel of life“, the „Four Noble Truths“, a symbol of the „Holy Number 4“ was and is abused as a symbol of guilt and atonement, as a metaphor for a life of burden.
